more friends

While I am thinking off my friends in Germany and connecting with friends here, Sophia is glad to have her friends back as well.

They are old enough now to play with fewer boundaries outside in the community. One of their favorite is climbing the fig tree by the green. They pretending it is their house and sometimes robbers come and steal things from them. Then they have to catch the robbers.... and the stories goes on. I remember playing these pretend games with my friends. I still think pretend games are the best!

All in all Sophia is slowly arriving home and recovering from her jet lag. She wanted to bounce right back into the rhythm here with her friends, but after a week we realized how exhausted she was. Now we are taking life a little slower and take some more "alone time" meaning quiet reading, napping, coloring just by herself. These times seem to be the necessary medicine for her.
