For my gradution Theodore told me to leave june 23rd through 28th open for a mystery trip. Of course knowing me he had fun making the trip very suspenseful, and I could hardly wait. Once we got closer to the date he did tell me what to pack, but I knew nothing else. I tried to figure it out, when he said I would not need a sleeping bag, I was very curious. We have only been going camping. Where are we going??
The 23rd finally was here and we packed the car and drove, and drove, and drove. Three hours later we arrived in the beautiful area called Point Reyes. It is right by the ocean. We had a picknick by the beach. Sophia by now was also getting very curious where she would sleep tonight, but she actually reassured me, “Papa knows, Mama”!
After driving a little further, I could not help it, but noticing out loud how beautiful everything was, the flowers, and hills, and the ocean. Low and behold, a little bit further, Theodore drives into the drive way of a beautiful bed & breakfast. I almost jumped, because everything just seemed so perfectly beautiful. So, Theodore had arranged for us to stay at this place for two nights. We had a great big room, with beautiful view to some mountains, and a hot tub underneath the roses. The place is called Abalone Inn, and was decorated with many Abolone shells. So there we stayed, and relaxed, went for hikes, saw elkes, and great big red woods and most of all enjoyed each other!
Soon I will also upload some pictures!
Thanks, Julia
