The children in my after school craft class are finishing a project of embroidery. Some of them were really quite skilled at it and the results are beautiful. There is something about doing art with children. It usually turns out very differently from what I imagined and as in this case, BETTER!
Everyone drew their own design on the fabric, using a light colored pencil. Following the lines each child embroidered their creation. Loving to reuse and recycle, I went to goodwill and got some pretty frames. I ironed and framed each one, for the children to take home their work and display them!
