plans for the kitchen

I would like to repaint our kitchen. We moved into this apartment 3 years ago and with two young children and no cleaning service but my own(!) it is time to freshen things up. Since we are "only" renting I don't want to invest a whole lot, but a can of paint and perhaps some new knobs would be wonderful.....

I am thinking of a cream, soft but cheerful yellow and something like these red knobs for the cupboards.

Spring break is only a view weeks away, I am getting excited. I hope, oh so hope that I will get to do this. To be fair I promised I would finish some other unfinished projects around the house first.

Some of which I did tonight, like hanging some lamps in our bedroom and painting a little shelf I found for Sophia for all her little trinkets. She likes to think of it as her altar, which I think is beautiful, a place where she keeps beautiful things that inspire her.

Oh, and while we are at it.... perhaps we could replace the ugly track lighting above our dining table with this charming chandelier!!!!!!! ok, I am dreaming now!
