Well, here I go trying to catch up with my life again, now that I am on vacation. The following posts are from the not so far past.
The children drew the rainbows with these Stockmar crayons. Using little (!) drops of Elmar's glue the children then glued on jewels and other sparkling and colorful decorations. To keep all the little pieces together and insure for each child to work by him/herself I placed the pieces in little bowls for each of them.
As part of our Tibetan rainbow theme, I made these rainbow collages with my class. Using small pieces, creating and placing them carefully can draw children into a quiet space. That quiet space is so needed when the rest of the day is busy and especially intense with the play rehearsals.

This is certainly a project that can be done over and over again, not only as rainbows, but maybe as a spring project with objects found outside?
