On Wednesday Theodore had some business to do in Boston, and so Mateo and I went with him. Sophia chose to stay with Dede to enjoy every moment she can get with her.
After a wonderful lunch at an Indian restaurant we walked through Cambridge and Harvard Square. Theodore did his undergraduate studies there. It is fun to hear him talk and see his dormitory, lecture halls and streets he used to walk on a daily basis.

It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining and the people were smiling, happy to see the sun again. While Theodore re parked the car I had a chance to wander the streets alone for a while. Mateo was sleeping soundly. I took a deep breath and enjoyed every moment. Noticing the beautiful old architecture, the brick roads,
the book stands,
the small blossoms on trees,
small local shops, and for a while I just sat on a bench and did what I like to do best in a city, watch people. In a city men and women always seem to be more creatively, elegantly, and uniquely dressed. Certainly inspiring to me to try on or adding a little something to my wardrobe.
I felt freedom, happiness and youth on this gorgeous spring day in Boston!
Sounds like a great vacation! I love all of your photos -- especially the last photo of Mateo! He is such a cutie!
