Just last week I started my craft class again. It was good to take a break last term, and now with fresh momentum we are back to creating some magical pieces. This time around I also added cooking. During the school days cooking is a favorite activity. Children take pride in their skills to help and prepare their own food.
Last week we created masks using paper mache. We plastered paper mache all over balloons, let them dry, then cut them in half. The students then had fun painting the masks, and decorating them with feathers and jewels.
They all turned out magically!
