Sophia's interests change and grow and can be as opposite as can be. From her huge fascination with Star Wars she now took a fancy with Fancy Nancy.

Fancy Nancy uses fancier words and dresses in her own fashionable way. Everything is frilly and elegant.

On our trip to the library Sophia got another book about Fancy Nancy and could hardly sleep last night, making plans of how she could turn her room and wardrobe to be more Fancy Nancy- ish .

Well, by the next afternoon she was decked out in a big tulle dress, complete with pink tulle head band. She took the most pink and flowery pillow she could find in our house and added a lacy doily to it. The door to her room received a makeover as she added silk scarves in front of it.

I have been reminding her to write her Thank you cards for her birthday party. I didn't need to say anymore when she suddenly saw cards in the book, heart or butterfly shaped! Now, she thinking of more people that she could possible thank. That is motivation for you!
