Mateo's fascination with trucks, diggers, cars, buses and trains is not too over look. So, on Saturday we took the children on a little train adventure, and it couldn't have been more perfect.
We patiently waited for the train to arrive. When the train rolled into the station, his eyes got wide and his finger pointed at the train.
Inside he was sitting like a proud king on this throne. He kept touching the seat and pointing to everything in the train, saying "gug" (german word for train is "zug").
We first went to Menlo Park to have a delicious brunch.
Here he is imitating the little dog at the neighbor's table.
On the train we went again to make a stop in Palo Alto. We had to visit the Apple store of course. The new ipad is pretty amazing. Though I was more intrigued by the idea to get an i phone!!! ;)
Hopped on the train to Mountain View. There we visited the library, where Mateo could take his nap.
Now it was really hot outside and we made a last stop to have a smoothie, an ice mocha chai and an ice latte.
Last time on the train and home again.
Every time right after we waved the train good bye he put down his little hand and then said "mehr gug" (more train). And I think we just have to oblige him very soon.
