Yesterday we took Sophia to see Toy Story 3. It was her first movie theater experience. She had recently seen Toy Story 1 and 2, on the airplane to Germany. (Being allowed to watch movies on the plane, are always the highlight of flying for her.)We haven't let her watch many movies or anything on screen. She herself hasn't asked for it much, as she quickly starts to cry out of sheer over stimulation.
She really wanted to go to the theaters and since she was fine watching the first two movies we wanted to share the experience of the big screen with her.
As expected she was mesmerized by the big screen. The movie was in 3D and so we had to wear those special glasses. With a big bag of pop corn in her lap I think she felt like a big girl.
As for me, I felt proud watching her grow up a bit.
