a little something on my kneedles

This summer I wanted to do something that would help welcome baby Ellie to this world. A baby blanket and a special home knit kind seemed in order. Her momma wanted to knit one, but as a medical resident and no time on her hands I offered her to do the knitting for her instead.

Even though it took a couple of night shifts, I finished the blanket in time for our cross country flight to go see our new family member.
