2012 was a very busy year with lots of newness and ongoings. I do feel we have all grown this year in many different ways.
Mateo- Has started preschool and is as eager as ever to play and follow his big sister, whom he also calls his friend. He loves to play and be outside. At night he always wants to hear what the next day will hold.
Sophia- 9 years old already and an avid reader. She recently read me a pretty comprehensive list of books she has read. She loves the Hardy Boy books, which lead her to cut her hair short.
Theodore- Continues his second Masters degree, serves as the board president for Communitas and is the Head of School for The Children's School of Art and Science. He loves his quiet times and his seclusions.
Me- Finished a year of school in the living room, expanded my flute business, continue to make our house more and more like home, continue my Masters at Mills and are now half way done!
Although I don't expect my life to become any less busy soon, my New Year's resolution is to enjoy that what I have more fully and stop getting stressed about the little things.
I also want to post one picture a day here on this little blog. Even if it is just instagram photos, I want to continue to capture the treasured moments. Yeah!
Here are some corners of our little home.
Happy New Year 2013!
