We bought this cabinet of Craigslist a while back for just $15. The extra storage space is so helpful and as it sits in the corner the cabinet itself does not take up much space. I love the curves and glass doors, but the color just never really worked as it makes our home even darker.
So, I sanded it, primed and gave this piece a new coat of paint. Theodore had the idea to use the same paint as our kitchen is to achieve a build in kind of effect. I liked that idea, I am not sure it worked, but I am happy that the space got lighter and brighter.
Here are the before and after pictures. Eventually, I hope to exchange the handles as well, but for now it is already a great improvement from what it was, wouldn't you agree?
