meditation the mama way

OK, I have to admit I am not meditating as much as I would like or would be good for me, but I have to say I am getting more and more creative to where and when to sneak in a couple of concentrated and inward moments.
Last night I was nursing Mateo and he slowly closed his eyes, drifting off to sleep. He looked so peaceful. Me too, closed my eyes and watched my breath. As simple as that with each inhalation and exhalation, I could feel my body slowly relax and be in the moment.

My meditation before going to bed is another important part of my day and life. Hanging on to past experiences is not necessarily helpful to live in the moment and enjoy life. Mediation before going to bed gives me the well needed opportunity to reflect, let go and start fresh with the next day.
