enjoying what i see

While there was a lot of hussle and bussle about these last past weeks, I felt grateful for this moment of quiet. I was sitting on the floor folding my weekly pile of laundry. Usually this activity is accompanied by a movie or at least music. Tonight it was just silence, quiet.

And while I looked around in my home, I noticed that I enjoyed what I saw. With a tight budget and little time at home I can sometimes feel frustrated that certain areas of our home is still looking, well lets say unfinished. It was a pleasant surprise for me to notice and acknowledge the calm and harmonious areas in our home.
