red

Red seems to be the color of the season, and I love it! There is a lot of red around lately, that has made me happy.

I am enjoying being on vacation right now. My parents are still here and tonight Theodore's family is arriving as well.

The picture I imagine and that makes me all excited and giddy is when just like in old times family arrived from the neighboring villages in their sleighs to celebrate the holidays. They came in the deep snow and the warm fire, hot drinks and lots of wonderful warm wool blankets were ready for them. Doesn't that sound magical and makes you feel warm and grateful?

I am very grateful for my family for their coming, their generosity and good intentions.
